In the last presidential election, 40% of Americans voted early. In this election we are expecting voter turnout to be among the highest in recent history. We want everyone to know your early vote options.

What choices do you have when voting in Orange County?

Vote by Mail

This year, all registered voters will automatically receive their ballot in the mail, even if they did not request one.

Complete and mail your ballot as soon as you receive it. No postage is necessary. Voters with disabilities may use their own accessible technology to mark their ballot at home. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day.

Ballot Drop Off

Drop off at any Ballot Drop Box in your county as soon as you receive it. No postage is necessary. Voters with disabilities may use their own accessible technology to mark their ballot at home.

in Person

You can visit any Vote Center in your county. Vote centers replace neighborhood polling places. All Vote Centers will be open 5 days: from October 30 through November 3. At every vote center you can register and vote the same day and drop off your completed ballot.
